Linear
Create, search, and update Linear issues
Plugins are coming soon. They are not yet available to everyone, so you might not see Plugins in the app yet.
Create, search, and update Linear issues.
This plugin gives a coding agent Linear tools. To open a Linear issue as a Superset workspace, see Use with Linear.
Skills
| Skill | What it does |
|---|---|
file-issue | Turns a rough report into an issue: reproduces it, checks for duplicates, and sets team, priority, and labels |
duplicate-sweep | Groups issues about the same bug, picks one to keep, and moves the evidence to it |
project-status | Drafts a project status update from what actually moved: progress, risks, and the decision that is needed |
Skills are named linear-<skill>. In Claude Code they appear as superset:linear-<skill>.
MCP Server
Tools come from Linear's own MCP server at https://mcp.linear.app/mcp. Superset proxies each call and adds your credentials. Linear decides which tools the server offers, so see Linear's documentation for the current list.
Authentication
| Method | Details |
|---|---|
| OAuth 2.0 | You sign in to Linear in your browser. Superset registers itself with Linear when you connect, so there is no app to set up first. Superset asks for read and write. |
| Personal API key | Paste a key from Linear's Settings → Security & access. |
Connect from the plugin's page in Plugins. Superset keeps the credentials. The agent and your machine never see them.
